Macatawa Bank opened its first branch in Zeeland, Michigan in November of 1997.

In just 10 short years, the bank has grown to 26 locations in 3 counties, with over 500 employees delivering a complete line of state-of-the-art banking products.

What hasn’t changed in those ten years is the commitment and dedication to providing excellent service and supporting the local community. Terri Prince, Branch Manager for the Jenison Branch located on 2020 Baldwin Street has been with Macatawa Bank since 1999. “We truly enjoy making our customer’s lives easier by going above and beyond what is expected,” says Prince. “What really makes the difference for customers is being able to have the more sophisticated, high tech banking products with the high level of personalized service.”

“Macatawa Bank is also extremely dedicated to be actively involved and support the local communities they are in,” says Kathy Ymker, Assistant Manager. “Macatawa Bank donates to over 300 local groups, organizations and charities in Kent, Ottawa and Allegan County every year. We recently completed a HOPE Tote Drive for Mel Trotter Ministries in Grand Rapids and collected over 2,672 pounds of produce to help their needs.”
